NEW DELHI, AUGUST 19: Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has conducted UPSC CAPF 2019 written exam on August 18. Candidates who have appeared for the exam can check the unofficial answer key released by the coaching institutes. The unofficial answer key of CAPF has been released for paper I (General Ability and Intelligence).
With the help of answer key, candidates can match the number of correct and incorrect answers. Candidates can even calculate the expected scores by knowing the number of correct and incorrect answers.
As per the marking scheme, the paper I of CAPF carried a total of 125 questions. Each question carried 2 marks where for each wrong answer, 1/3 marks were deducted. Paper-II of UPSC CAPF was descriptive in nature. Candidates were given 3 hours to answer this paper. The total marks allotted to paper II was 250.
UPSC will release the official answer key of CAPF 2019 after the declaration of the final result. Candidates who will obtain the minimum marks will be selected to appaer for the next round of selection process.
UPSC CAPF is conducted for the recruitment of candidates to the post of Assistant Commandants (Group A) in Border Security Force (BSF), Central Industrial Security Force(CISF), Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) and Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP). A total of 323 vacancies have been announced for the year 2019 recruitment.
